IPCOS has developed Feeder@Max to fulfil the requirements from demanding glass manufacturers regarding the control of glass and atmosphere temperatures in forehearths. The package assists you to maintain critical process conditions during load and product changes and to bring your process back within defined operating conditions after process upsets. With Feeder@Max you will see better-defined glass conditions at the exit of the feeder, resulting in improved gob-weight stability and less variability of product dimensions. Feeder@MAX is a general-purpose solution for various forehearth actuator and sensor configurations: air/fuel, oxy/fuel, with or without controlled cooling airflows, electrical boosting, multi-level glass thermocouples, pyrometers, etc.
Feeder@Max can be ideally combined with the other products from our Glass@Max solutions
