IPCOS has developed Melter@Max to fulfil the requirements from demanding glass manufacturers regarding the control of glass and crown temperatures in melters. The package assists you to maintain critical process conditions during load and batch composition changes and to bring your process back within defined operating conditions after process upsets. With Melter@Max you will see better-defined glass conditions at the exit of the melter, resulting in reduced glass defects originating from the melter and easier glass conditioning behind the melting process.
Melter@Max is a general-purpose solution for various melter configurations. It can be configured for the different types of furnaces and tuned for different types of glass production segments.
Melter@Max can be ideally combined with the other products from our Glass@Max solutions.
