Who are we?

We have a very strong team of consultants in Europe. The consultants listed below are practitioners with several years of experience in APC. 

Sam Dhaliwal (UK) is a chartered chemical engineer who has spent over 15 years working on APC ventures particularly in the Middle East. He has led multimillion dollar projects in both management and technical roles, delivering on time and within budget. Sam is an expert in implementing APC applications for refining applications as well as a strong Project and Program manager.

Patrick Thorpe (UK) is a chartered chemical engineer and has worked with various APC applications for leading oil and petrochemical multinationals. He has developed APC models in non-traditional fields such as fibres, paper and pulp, and food processing and specialises in ethylene processes. Patrick has over 15 years of experience.

Doug Nicholson (UK) is an acknowledged world expert on ethylene processes. Over the past 30 years he been at the forefront of chemical APC applications and gained wide experience of ethylene, aromatics and downstream chemical process technologies. He has worked across Europe and also carried out assignments in the Middle East.

Michael Harmse (UK) has a Master’s degree in Control Engineering and has extensive experience in the application of MPC technology to a wide range of processes. His career spans more than 20 years, during which he worked for an operating company, a major DCS company implementing APC systems, and most recently he led a large Research and Development organization in the US. He has extensive experience in oil and petrochemical process control and has a reputation for technical innovation. He has led diverse projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa.

Roger Barrett (UK) is a chartered Chemical Engineer with a strong background in process operations and has executed several Advanced process control projects in Europe and the middle East. Roger has a worked in both Refining and chemical plants over the last 15 years.

Sebastien Osta (France) has worked in the refining and chemicals area for several years and is a trusted advisor for several clients in France. Sebastien's career in APC spans over 17 years.

We also have Roel Oudbier based in the Netherlands and Jonas Gillberg based in Sweden.
